Meet The Doctor

Dr. Guerra was born in Cuba. After becoming a dentist at a very young age, she graduated as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon. She practiced and taught students and residents in her country and when she emigrated to USA, she applied and was accepted at the University of Pennsylvania to the PASS program. She graduated from UPENN, School of Dental Medicine in 2010, and has been practicing ever since.

After years of practicing as a General Dentist and teaching at the dental school, she felt the call of owning her own practice. She believes in the power of the small office that is owned by the dentist and she is passionate about that. Dr. Guerra enjoys all facets of Dentistry and loves her daily interactions with patients. Her motivation is being able to give people a smile which they are proud of and practice with passion and compassion.

She strives to be an excellent professional, while making people comfortable and happy with the results. Her caring and warm personality and professional quality of work keeps her patients coming back time after time again to her. She believes not only in the dental care, but also on the care of a patient as a whole.

Dr. Guerra has many interests in life. She enjoys hiking, cycling, playing piano, baking. She adores her little family and her dog Bella.

La Dra Guerra nació en Cuba. A muy temprana edad se graduó de Odontología e inmediatamente se enroló en un prestigioso programa de Cirugía MaxilloFacial,graduándose con título de oro y honores. Una vez logrado ese important objectivo, comenzó a enseñar estudiantes y residentes en su país y en Venezuela, donde vivió for algún tiempo. Cuando emigró a los Estados Unidos, tomó los exámenes necesarios y fue aceptada a la Universidad de Pennsylvania, siendo la escuela a la que aplicó para obtener su licencia. Sus credenciales le facilitation hacer esa transición rápidamente. En 2010 se gradúo con resultados excelentes y ha practicado desde entonces en el area de Filadelfia y sus suburbios.

Después de años de ejercer como dentista general y enseñar en la escuela de Odontología, sintió la llamada de ser dueña de su propia práctica. Ella cree en el poder de una oficina pequeña donde el dentista está a cargo de todo y puede prestar atención a cada detalle con cuidado y entrega. La Dra Guerra disfruta de todas las facetas de la Odontología y le encantan sus interacciones diarias con los pacientes. Su motivación es poder dar a las personas una sonrisa de la que estén orgullosos y practicar con pasión y compasión.

Ella se esfuerza por ser una excelente profesional, al tiempo que hace que la gente se sienta cómoda y feliz con los resultados. Su personalidad cariñosa y la calidad de su trabajo profesional hacen que sus pacientes vuelvan una y otra vez. Ella no ve sólo un diente, sino que trata al paciente en conjunto, buscando siempre la solución más lógica para ese caso en particular. Eso la hace diferente.

La Dra Guerra tiene muchos intereses en la vida. Le gusta hacer senderismo, montar en bicicleta, tocar el piano y hornear. Ella adora a su pequeña familia, su esposo, su hijo Daniel David quién es un estudiante muy dedicado, sus padres y a su perrita Bella.
